The majority of guests value the ability to self check-in when reserving short-term stays. To facilitate this, we offer a complimentary lockbox installation at your property. In addition we will provide the guest with a user-friendly mobile check-in guide.
Keynests
In the event a lockbox can’t be installed, for example you live in a graded building or it’s not allowed by property management, we can also provide Keynest key pickups.
As with keyboxes, we will provide a user-friendly mobile check-in guide.

What options do guests have for checking in?
We can provide two convenient check-in options for guests; keybox and keynests. Self check-in is facilitated through the use of secure keyboxes, allowing guests to check in any-time outside of cleaning times. Where keyboxes are not possible, we can provide a keynest collection service.
How do key boxes work?
Key boxes are a police-approved means of storing keys at a property. These can be either wall mounted or made more portable (for example attached to a rail) and are the most convenient way for guests to check-in and received the most positive feedback.
What are keynests?
Keynests are another solution when it isn’t possible to install a keybox at a property. There can be various factors as to why it’s not possible to install a keybox, for example a building is factored by a management company and they won’t allow keybox installation, or the building is listing. There are numerous reasons why a keybox might not be possible so a keynest is the next best solution.
Customers will be provided with user- and mobile-friendly instructions on how to collect keys. Keynest have collection points all throughout the country and require providing a on-time code for collecting keys.
Can guests check-in at any time?
Outside of cleaning hours, yes, guests can check in at any time. Key boxes offer the flexibility of checking-in day and night which is especially beneficial for business travellers and people traveling long distances.
